How to get to koh kood
Koh Kood is an island, so the most common way to get there is by ferry or speedboat. If you book a stay at Soneva Kiri, you can also opt for a flight from Bangkok directly to Koh Kood.
Ferries and speedboats run all year from Laem Sok Pier, which is 40 km south of Trat. During the high season, you can also enjoy island hopping by catching boats from the nearby islands of Koh Mak and Koh Chang.
There are organized transfers available from Bangkok, Pattaya, and some destinations in Cambodia. These transfers usually include a bus ride to Laem Sok Pier followed by a ferry to Koh Kood.
If you are traveling from most places in Thailand, you will need to go to Bangkok first and then travel to Trat to catch the ferry to Koh Kood.
