KOh Kood Beaches

Koh Kood is home to about 18 beaches, yet not all are accessible by road.
Here's a comprehensive list of all beaches accessible by road, starting in the north and going all the way down to the south.

Secret Beach or formlery known as Secret Beach
This is the most northern beach which is accessible by road. There's a nice cafe and sunsets here are stunning.
While the beach is quite wide during low tide, it tends to disappear during high tide, especially in December and January then high tides are at peak.

Klong Mad
There are 2 tiny beaches in Klong Mad area. One is the beach of Koh Kood Beach Resorts, the other one is in front of Suanya Resort. It should not be a problem to order a drink and enjoy their beaches.

Ao Taphao / Deep Port
Ao Taphao is a 900m long beach starting at Deep Port / Sa Pan Naam Luek Pier. At the beginning there are some resorts with beach bars, so you can chill out here. Or you walk past Seafar Resort and end up on a natural beach. It's a beautiful stretch of beach, with usually very little people and some shady spots. From December until January when tide is high during the day, parts of the beach are covered in water. As the southern part is a natural beach and not cleaned by resort staff, be prepared to find plastic waste. If you're motivated pick some pieces up, nature will thank you.

Ao Noi
Ai Noi is a beautiful, scenic beach with only one resort - Ao Noi Resort. You can order a drink or food from their restaurant and then chill the whole day either on the beach or on the pier. If you need some more action you also can go snorkeling along the shore on the left side of the beach. While not the greatest snorkeling spot, you still see some fish.

Klong Chao Beach
This is the main beach and also one of the longest beaches of Koh Kood. Either you chill at the beach, though there are not many places with shadow, or you chill at one of the beach bars of the resorts on this beach. Particularly Neverbar, the last one on the sand bank is very nice. Here you'll also find a beach volleyball net, usually the staff of Peter Pan Resort is enjoying a game at the end of the day.
Klong Chao Beach is also the most popular beach for sunset. If you want to meet some new people, that's the place and time to go.

S-Beach / Huggy Beach
This medium sized beach offers a beach bar (Huggy Beach) and some pines, spending shadow. It's also a very good place for snorkeling.

Dusita Beach
Right next to Huggy Beach, just separated by the small river, is Dusita beach. A beautiful beach with just Dusita resort. In order to stay on their beach, order a drink or food from their restaurant.

An-a-Lay / Haat Sai Daeng
A very tranquile beach is An-a-Lay beach. It's also called Haat Sai Daeng due to its red color. You might be asked to buy drinks or food, but usually you just can chill on the beach. It's also a very nice snorkel spot. Just start at the southern end of the beach, close to the rocks and continue going out along the shore you can't miss the tropical hard coral reef.

Bang Bao Bay
By many considered the most beautiful bay and beach on Koh Kood, the color of the water is one of it's kind. You can chill on the piers or in one of the resort bars, particularly "The Deck" and "Monkey bar".
The beach can be accessed via Koh Kood Resort or by Siam Beach Resort.

Pa Hin Sai / Chams House / At Takhian
This beach is quite long and mostly serene, with just one main resort: Cham's House. If you head to the right after Cham's House, you'll come across the abandoned resort Pa Hin Sai. For the adventurous, this area offers the opportunity for a shoreline hike.
Turning to your left from Cham's House, you’ll find a more natural stretch of beach that is often nearly deserted. As this part of the beach isn’t maintained by any resort, you might encounter some plastic debris. If you feel motivated, picking up a few pieces of trash can help keep the beach beautiful and pristine. Nature will surely appreciate it!

Klong Hin / Montana
Usually Klong Hin Resort is ok if you want to use their beach and park your motorbike at their parking place. With it's crystal clear water and the palm trees, it's one of Koh Koods most beautiful beaches. From here you can walk along the old main road to the next beach Neverland / Ao Jak

Neverland / Ao Jak
Another beach, often considered the most beautiful on Koh Kood, boasts stunning water colors (most of the time). Rimlay and Neverland, both have beach bars where you can relax with a drink or snack. For those who prefer a more natural experience, a short walk to the left will lead you to a tranquil, unspoiled stretch of beach all to yourself.
If you enjoy hiking, head to the southern end of the beach where the old main road begins. This path leads towards Ao Phrao Beach, offering a scenic and leisurely hike.

Ao Phrao
The 900m long Ao Phrao beach is the southern most beach. Especially during low tide this beach offers a spectacular view and is very wide. There are some nice and quiet resorts on the beach as well as SeaThru beach club, a very nice place to enjoy food and drinks and hang out.
